How to play

Our card game, Islands of Discovery, offers an innovative way to explore the hidden corners of the Maltese islands. Each pack, presented in a reusable sack, contains 10 randomized cards available in three rarities: common, rare, and legendary. With a total of 40 cards to collect, players can discover different aspects of Maltese culture, from historical landmarks to unique locations, making it the perfect activity for families and tourists.

On the back of each card, you will find a QR code that will take you to the corresponding location page, where you will find three optional challenges to complete. These challenges range from miniature scavenger hunts to creative photography tasks, making learning about Maltese culture interactive and fun. Upon completing the challenges and submitting your answers, you’ll earn points based on the difficulty of the task. These points contribute to a leaderboard displayed on our social media, adding a competitive edge to the game.

The Challenge

  • Looking inside, how many benches are there? (1 point)
  • Roughly, how long did the hike from the top of the valley to the bottom take? (2 points)
  • Take a photo of the Mosta Bridge, which is visible from the chapel, and send it to us. (3 points)
